High performance

RSM 3000 DT tractors are equipped with Cummins QSX15 engines specially designed for machines operating in quickly varying loading applications. A unit injector system, a turbocharger with an air-to-air intercooler produce the best air-fuel mixture and ensure it burns as completely and cleanly as possible.

15L engines are well balanced for high loads, a torque margin of 30 to 35% allows for reliable operation in heavy-duty applications. And an electronic control unit allows the machine to quickly respond to variations in loading conditions and throttle control position.

All models from the 3000 DT range come with a robust TA22 automatic transmission as standard. The transmission uses power shifting.

The transmission has 16 forward gears for speeds from 2.5 to 40 km/h and 4 reverse gears for speeds from 2.2 to 14.5 km/h. A large number of gears allows setting the best speed for a specific application to suit current conditions.

Ruggedized axles are specially engineered for installation of track drive and designed for high loads. Bespoke external planetary gears transfer maximum possible power directly to the drives. And the planetary hubs are suspended on bearings attached directly to the axle beam. This allows transmitting the load directly to the beam and not to high precision drive components.

The front and rear differentials have a manual locking feature in base, with automatic enable/disable feature.

Thanks to tracks, the 3000 DT compacts soil 3 times less (versus a tractor on singles), reduces slipping, has better pulling capabilities. Delta track units mounted on the RSM 3000 DT are one of the most advanced chassis in the industry. Tandem frames of mid-rollers with two degrees of freedom provide a greater contract between the track and ground versus the competition.

Thanks to a large drive wheel, the shoe engages at 81°, and 22cm wide grousers prevent belt spinning on the drive wheel, thereby extending the track life.

3000 DT tractors come with 762mm (30") wide high quality rubber-reinforced track belts in base. Tracks are available in 914mm (36") width as option. The use of tracks is beneficial from the agronomic perspective. Since ground pressure from a tracked tractor is 2 times less than that from wheeled tractors on duals (0.45 to 0.55 kg/cm2 versus 0.8 to 0.9 kg/cm2).

A tracked tractor has a max. 5% slipping (2% on average) unlike wheeled tractors (up to 15%). All this dramatically reduces the harmful effect of overcompaction of soil on the growth of crops, and improves soil fertility over time. Low slipping allows using implements 10 to 15% wider than with a wheeled tractor with the same power rating, and save up to 10% of fuel.

The frame articulation consisting of 9 joints, allowing the machine to efficiently follow ground contours. A 30-degree up/down travel ensures a constant contact between the tracks and ground. And the articulation is easy to service, and is time-proven to be built to last.

Spacious fuel tanks capable of storing 1,540 litres in total provide up to 20 hours (2 shifts) of non-stop “off-grid” operation. The tractor can be conveniently refuelled from the ground on both sides.

RSM 3000 DT tractors come with HIFLOW 303 L/min hydraulic system in base which can deliver up to 197 bar for seeding systems with high hydraulic requirements. The standard configuration includes six 1/2” couplers, four 1” couplers and two 1/2” case drain couplers. For compatibility with implements with their own control valve, tractors come with Power Beyond kit.

Also, configurations with a 208 L/min hydraulic system with 4 spare valve sections are available. For farms using tractors mainly in combination with heavy tillage implements or drills with flow demand up to 208 L/min.

The tractor drawbar with the maximum allowable vertical load of 4,082 kg and a 51mm pin (CAT IV) maximizes efficiency of operation with trailed implements. The drawbar attachment point located close to the tractor’s centre of gravity provides the best distribution of axle load, 50/50. This offers an appreciable saving of fuel. A heavy-duty drawbar with the maximum allowable vertical load of 5,443 kg and a 70mm pin (CAT V) is available as an option.

The rear 3-pt hitch is an option that can be installed at the factory. The hitch is designed to accept Category IV implements. The lift capacity @ 610mm behind hitch point is 6,800 kg.

The 3-pt hitch has an electronic position control feature (EHR) required to maintain a consistent working depth of implements. The basic kit also includes the slip control function that is responsible for automatic control of the implement depth depending on tractor wheel slipping. This feature makes operator’s job much easier in tough soil conditions such as very damp soil, rolling terrain, large working depth etc.

Comfort

A dual cab of the RSM 3000 DT is one of the most spacious in its class, 3.6 cu.m. At this comfortable work station with quality trim, low noise, well-engineered ergonomics, the operator can work all through the shift without extra fatigue. The configuration includes:

Steering column with tilt and fore/aft adjustments;
Climate system;
semi-active air-suspended operator’s seat with 11 settings and adjustments options;
Tractor control console with multi-function joystick;
8.7' colour touch with integrated dashboard;
Cooled locker compartment (for 1.5L bottle);
Multiple pockets for storing beverage bottles (0.3L to 2L);
Audio fittings;
Heated power rear-view mirrors.

The console integrated in the seat armrest accommodates controls for all most frequently used functions: cruise control, transmission automatic mode enable, differential lock, 3-pt hitch raise/lower (option), PTO engage (option).

The system maintains engine speed at set rpm. This function allows operating at an optimum engine speed mode, irrespective of the position of the throttle control lever.

The joystick helps shift gears, select automatic transmission modes, control two sections of the hydraulic control valve, operate the rear hitch or make headland turns.

The 8.7' colour touchscreen is easy to read thanks to a high resolution. The screen displays all tractor’ system data that the operator needs, including:

electronic gauges;
productivity and fuel consumption;
engine load;
sensor readings, calibration;
service intervals;
hydraulic valves and rear hitch settings;
headland settings;
integrated MP3 media player and radio;
integrated GPS tracker.

The display comes in IP50 dustproof housing.

The compartment for small items can be used not only for its direct function, but also to keep a bottle of water cool even on a hottest day thanks to cold air from the climate system.

Attention to Details

The autopilot improves tractor’s productivity by 10% by minimising gaps and overlaps during tillage operations, and avoid overly dense seedlings when using seeding systems.

RSM 3000 DT tractors come with a hydraulically-operated GPS/GLONASS automatic steering system as standard.

All RSM 3000 DT tractors come with the proprietary RSM Agrotronic remote satellite monitoring system (includes fuel level sensors, a GPS tracker). The system can:

monitor tractor movements and operation;
analyse performance data;
monitor refuelling/fuel draining;
notify about faults.

Performance data can be fully monitored from the computer or via an application for Android OS / iOS smartphones.

A speed radar is in base equipment on RSM 3000 DT tractors. It displays the true ground speed of the tractor so that the operator can check the slip factor in real time.

The fuel prefilter and auxiliary filter separator that are in base equipment separate water and trap solids in the fuel system. This simple configuration effectively protects the diesel fuel system from contamination and damage and ensures the engine runs smoothly if the fuel filled is not clean enough. To drain, you need to open a small plastic valve on the bottom of fuel filter.

3575 DT tractors are equipped as standard with a reversing fan to automatically clean coolers from dust and crop remains by changing the position of vanes.

The battery disconnect switch can be used to quickly cut off tractor’s electrical system from the batteries.

The cab entry ladder folding feature allows avoiding its damage and maintain the true road clearance when moving in fields with rough terrain. Folding/unfolding is electrically-operated and activated by pushbuttons from the operator’s seat.

It is required for ensuring correct operation of some seeding systems (for example, with hydraulically-operated seed meter of the air cart or caster wheels of the drill). Power Beyond function delivers maximum hydraulic flow from the hydraulic pump to the seeder by-passing the hydraulic control valve. It includes a pair of 1” couplers and a 1/2” coupler for LS line.

With two large toolboxes, you will always have at hand everything you need to service the machine.

Rostselmash tracked tractors are equipped with LED lights to improve productivity, safety, and to reduce operator’s fatigue during night-time operations. 18 extra-bright LED lights properly illuminate the area in front and behind the tractor over the entire implement width and ensure a good visibility on the far line.

all lubrication points can be accessed from ground;
every reservoir holding any fluid is equipped with a sight glass;
filling necks of fuel tanks are located on both sides of the tractor and can be accessed from ground;
air filters can be accessed from ground;
side hood panels on the tractor open up easily providing access to belts, alternator, starter and air conditioner compressor;
the front grille can be opened outwards providing access to the cooler package that, in its turn, unfolds like a book to provide access to service the condenser of the air conditioner evaporator, hydraulic oil cooler, engine radiator, fuel cooler and intercooler.

Daily service can be fully completed within minutes.
