
dOn 22 January, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved the first to come application. The project implemented by Kazrost Engineering Ltd, a private company, focuses on enhancing the local content in production of operator cabs for Rostselmash combines in Kazakhstan, with the Russian company being the project's key partner. Moreover, companies from Belarus are contributing by supplying various components necessary for the final production.
Sergei Robchenko, a Rostselmash's representative in Kazakhstan, clarified that the project centers on the cabs for regionally popular models of grain harvesters, specifically the ACROS 550/595 Plus and VECTOR 410. "This tripartite cooperative project is a significant milestone, necessitating extensive preparation, including the procurement of auxiliaries, essential equipment, and tools. We, alongside our partner, are currently engaged in thorough preparations for its commencement," he stated.

Industry experts have underscored that the Kazrost Engineering Ltd's pilot project will enhance the production and cooperation capabilities of the Union's companies, promoting mutual investments and elevating both the technological advancement and competitive edge of industrial products in EAEU markets and beyond.
"With the support of the EEC and our colleagues from the Eurasian Union's Chambers of Commerce and Industry, we have successfully established a functional mechanism to boost industrial cooperation, which is increasingly attracting the interest of representatives from various industrial sectors across EAEU member states," Dmitry Kurochkin, Vice President of the Russian Federation's Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a Russia's representative in the Project Office, remarked on the EEC Council's decision
It is noteworthy that the Russia's Rostselmash is actively collaborating with partners in Kazakhstan. Production of a diverse array of self-propelled machines and towed implements has been launched at two industrial sites within the Republic, encompassing the VECTOR 410 and ACROS 550/595 Plus grain harvesters as well as the series 2000 tractors.
