Rostselmash keeps pace with market trends and the needs of agricultural producers by further expanding its range of machines. Pilot production of F 1500 forage harvesters was launched in 2023, thus completing RSM F 1000 series.
Cattle farming demands a high performance model that works reliably in medium and high yield fields to put over 20,000 tonnes of forage into the trench per season.
Customer requirements for the quality of harvested forage have increased significantly in recent years and the manufacturer incorporated them in the design of new RSM F 1000 series forage harvesters. Like F 1300 – the first machine in the series – F 1500 is a unique forage harvester that offers the highest quality of cutting and crushing, compact and convenient design and ease of use.
With a wide range of headers, this combine harvester is truly multipurpose. It is able to harvest all types of forage crops. F 1500 combine is available with 2.6, 3 or 4 metre wide pickup header, 4.5, 6 and 7.5 metre maize header, 5; 6 metre straight cut grass header, and cornage header for 8 rows.
510 h.p. turbocharged aftercooled YAMZ 65804 diesel engine built specially for combines. Dosing system allows applying diluted inoculants in the range of 30 to 420 L per hour. F 1500 combines use a new cutterhead featuring 32 knives arranged in a four-row chevron pattern. The engine system includes gearbox and main clutch. The gearbox drives the transmission pump, high and low pressure hydraulic system pumps. The clutch allows power take-off to the drive of the chopping system and mass accelerator directly from the engine crankshaft. Rugged design of the feedrolls guarantees reliable operation in any yield conditions. The feedrolls are driven by Rostselmash proprietary gear case.
“F 1500 incorporates the power of 2000 series harvesters with the simplicity of 1000 series design. Mechanical drives of the main operating components are reliable and straightforward, and 510 h.p. engine provides the harvester with a capacity exceeding 140 tonnes of forage per hour. This combine harvester is designed for the farms that demand high productivity and forage quality and is capable of feeding over 1,000 head of cattle alone,” says Andrey Ryabov, Director of Rostselmash Marketing Department.
