Rostselmash showcased up-to-date models of agricultural machines for modern agricultural applications at AgriTek 2022 that started on 16 March 2022 in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Rostselmash machines are popular at the Kazakhstan’s market, they are produced at two facilities in the republic, clients are provided with after-sale services and spare parts.
At the exhibition, 3 models are being showcased which are of particular interest to Kazakh farmers. Together with its partners, the maker is displaying on the exhibition grounds the KSU 2 windrower, the RSM F 2550 combine and the RSM 3435 tractor.
The KSU 2 is a new-generation windrower that can fulfil several tasks at the same time. This wheeled machine with telescoping axles is designed to cut and then windrow cereal and eared crops and grain legumes, and fodder grasses. The windrower can travel at 30 km/h in the field, and at 50 km/h on the highway, faster than the competition. Compared to its predecessors, the KSU 2 has a faster cutting speed, a separate reel on some heads, the tines are now plastic. The engine delivers 294hp. Experts say that this versatile machine is best suited to farms that extensively use the windrowing method for harvesting, and grow livestock.
The RSM 3435 is a heavy-duty tractor for power-demanding operations, it will provide maximum benefit to farms with tilled acreage of 2,500 hectares and above. The RSM 3000 articulated tractors feature improved design, fuel savings in the field can reach 10% versus competition. The series comprises 435hp, 485hp, 535hp and 575hp models.
“This is a reliable and well-balanced tractor, with its cost/performance well suited to the current situation in the agriculture. High horsepower results in fewer passes per hectare, while the standard twin-tyre configuration reduces ground pressure for less damage to the topsoil,” says Marketing Department Director Andrey Ryabov.
The RSM F 2550 forage harvester is equipped with a versatile inoculant dosing system, a system of crop flow measuring sensors. With the engine rated at 400(543.84) kW (hp), it can cut 5.63 hectares per hour. With a 1,500L fuel tank, the machine can run non-stop all through the day. Adjustments of the length of cut, shear bar position, knives sharpening, fitting of a grass chute or kernel processor into the harvest channel are done automatically.
“This is a high performance forage harvester that can cut all types of silaged forage crops, with maximized end product quality. This machine performs at its best in medium to high yielding fields, and can harvest forage on soils with varying bearing capacities,” says Sergey Robchenko, Sales Director, Kazakhstan. During the event, you can consult the company on technical data of the models showcased, purchase terms and further business. The Rostselmash’s exhibition stands are where business is being done by signing contracts with Kazakh farmers till 18 March 2022.
