As part of a Russian business mission, Rostselmash visited Brazil and displayed its products in a single booth of Russian producers at a largest national agricultural exhibition, Bahia Farm Show in the state of Bahia. The trip was arranged by Rosspetsmash Association and supported by the Trade Representative of Russia.

The business programme included negotiations with leading agricultural associations, potential partners, and state leaders. In addition, the Company's representatives visited local livestock breeding complexes and special grain production agricultural holdings. Guests of the New Russian Machinery Building Technologies To Solve Pressing Problems of Brazilian Agriculture conference explored the model range, production resources, technology capacities and further development plans of the Company.
The visit to Brazil confirmed equal cooperation interest.Rostselmash sees its opportunities mostly in expanded entry in the hay and forage equipment market. The Company's product portfolio includes offers for both large agricultural producers and small livestock farmers. During negotiations, potential distributors and buyers showed interest in F 2000 forage harvesters, especially since the Russian equipment is adapted to the farming and weather conditions of Latin America. This was shown by previous demonstrations of grain and forage harvesters in Argentina and Paraguay.
F 2000 is a next generation harvesting equipment with high capacity in the field and high quality of harvested forage. Machines with a power of 643 hp and throughput of 200 t/h are capable of harvesting up to 25,000 tons per season. The cutterhead provides up to 85% evenness of lengths of cut for better feed intake. Harvesters have the shortest path among foragers and a higher energy performance. It is also worth noting that the fuel efficiency of this agricultural equipment is 0.69L/t.
While Brazilian agricultural holdings are interested in energy-intensive equipment, small farms show interest in trailed forage harvesting equipment, especially since they have already known Rostselmash brand: the first TUKAN 1600 balers were delivered to the country in 2019. The equipment has been positively reviewed by farmers, so small batches have been shipped to the Brazilian dealer over the past two years.
During the business mission in June, in addition to square balers, rotary and spider-wheel rakes, and STERH 2000 forage harvesters used to prepare fertilizers caught the farmers' eyes.
