Rostselmash has updated its all-wheel drive range of powerful combines and launched the NOVA 4WD model with improved capabilities for demanding conditions.
Решение для особых условий эксплуатации
Low soil bearing capacity in some regions requires the use of combines with improved off-road capability during the harvesting campaign. Rostselmash engineers actively addressed this issue by installing wide front tyres on mono-drive combines and then making their own rear axles. These steps made it possible to establish serial production of all-wheel drive machines.

In addition to four-wheel drive, the NOVA's new basic equipment includes such useful additions as a threshing cylinder speed reduction kit and a feeder house hydraulic reverser. The former optional threshing cylinder speed reduction kit extends the machine's functionality on crops such as maize and sunflowers.

In previous versions of the NOVA, the conveyor feeder house was also reversible, but mechanically, which means that you had to get out of the machine to start it. Now the reverse can be activated by pushing a button from the cab to clean the chamber during supply of over-moistened or twisted grain.

The hydraulic -reverser makes the work of mechanisers in difficult harvesting conditions much easier. The standard equipment of the updated NOVA also includes a trailing device, which minimises the cases of headers transporting in the mounted condition and increases their service life.

The all-wheel drive NOVA version has also changed the cab ergonomics; and in 2025 the basic equipment will include the RSM Agrotronic agriculture management platform to form the basis for the use of other electronic aides by Rostselmash.

Thus, the NOVA grain harvester has received the necessary basic functionality, which expands its capabilities, including in difficult harvesting conditions, and in the future will reduce operating costs and optimise the production process for growers.
